Maysville

Maysville is an unincorporated community in Auglaize Township, Allen County and extends into Hardin County.  Maysville was originally platted in Allen County, Later it reached into into Hardin County.^[2] The post office operated there under the name Hog Creek.^[3] This post office was established in 1841, and remained in operation until 1878.
